WHAT A VOID MOON IS
The Moon is void of course when it's finished making its final major aspect in a sign, but hasn't yet crossed into the next one. Think of it as an in-between window when the sky is mid-sentence, mid-thought. It's a real astrological phenomenon, measurable and predictable, and worth building your calendar around when the stakes are high.
HOW TO USE IT
The windows between Void Begins and Void Ends are your cosmic pause buttons: ideal for anything that benefits from stillness. Reflection, editing, integration, rest, the long walk before the big decision. Once the Moon enters its next sign, the pause lifts and momentum returns.
That means the smart plays during a void are the ones without a launch attached. Signing contracts, pitching, publishing, launching, sending the email that matters — these are best held for after the void closes and the Moon is settled in its next sign.
A NOTE FROM KRISTY
Void moons are the starting point, not the whole story. When I run a proper election for a client, I'm looking at where the Moon is (not just what it's doing), what aspects it's making across the day, where the angles sit, and how the timing lines up against the client's own chart. A moment can be non-void and still be a hard sky. Another moment can be void and completely fine for what you're doing.
