What inspired you to venture into your current industry/profession, and what drives your passion for it?

I've always had a deep love for creativity, like it's been a part of me from the very beginning. It's as if I popped out of the womb with a pencil and paper in hand instead of the usual baby gear! Pursuing a career in graphic design and illustration felt like the most natural path for me to follow. It allows me to merge my passion for the creative process with my love for thinking outside the box. What I adore about this field is that no two days are ever alike. It's a constant adventure, filled with exciting challenges waiting to be conquered. I find immense joy in seeking out beautiful and practical solutions, pushing myself to find that perfect balance between aesthetics and functionality. One of the greatest perks of my job is the opportunity to connect with people from all walks of life. I get to hear their stories, discover their passions, and then assist them in turning their creative dreams into reality. It's an incredible privilege to be a part of someone's journey and witness the transformation of their ideas into tangible creations.

Could you share a remarkable achievement or milestone in your career or personal life that you're particularly proud of? How did you overcome challenges to accomplish it?

Starting my own business is something I'm truly proud of. It wasn't part of my original plan, and I'll admit, it felt like a huge leap with lots of responsibility and risks! But you know what? It turned out to be one of the best things I've ever done. There have been tough times when it felt overwhelming, and imposter syndrome made its unwelcome presence known. But through it all, I've found my own path and created a life I genuinely love. I get to work on things that truly matter to me and collaborate with amazing people who bring me joy and purpose.

In what ways do you believe your star sign influences your approach to life and business? Are there any specific traits or characteristics associated with your sign/natal chart that you identify with?

As a Cancerian, I find immense joy in connecting with and truly understanding people. It's something that I believe contributes to my success in what I do. I don't just design for the sake of aesthetics; I design with people in mind. I also have a deep appreciation for systems and structure, that's where my Virgo rising comes in. I thrive when things are organised and well-thought-out. And lastly, my Aquarius moon mind is constantly buzzing with a million ideas. It's like an unstoppable whirlwind (which sometimes I wish I could turn off!) So, in a nutshell, my Cancerian nature, coupled with my Virgo rising and Aquarius moon, creates an interesting blend of empathy, organisation, and imagination.

What strategies or practices do you rely on to maintain a healthy work-life balance? How do you prioritise self-care and personal well-being amidst your professional endeavours?

Ah, the elusive work-life balance. It's a challenge I've always grappled with, and it's something I strive to improve each day. To keep myself in check, I've incorporated a few simple habits into my daily routine. Taking refreshing walks, listening to expansive podcasts, savouring a proper lunch break, and even leaving my phone in another room—these little things help me find a sense of balance amidst the busyness. Outside of my professional endeavours, I love exploring galleries, immersing myself in art and creativity. Spending quality time with my family and friends is an absolute priority. And when I have the opportunity, I love to travel, seeking new experiences really fills my creative cup.

Can you offer any advice or words of wisdom to aspiring individuals in your industry who look up to you as a role model? What key lessons or experiences have shaped your journey and contributed to your success?

When it comes to advice, there's one gem that truly stands out for me: you can't be everything to everyone, and you know what? That's absolutely okay. The real key is discovering what brings you joy and how you can make the most valuable contributions. It's about tuning out the noise and following your own path, without worrying about what everyone else is doing.
